Our Achievements
Since its creation, Unity Club in partnership with various national and international stakeholders has made significant contribution to cementing unity among the country’s leadership and the community at large. Key achievements include, but are not limited to, the following:
Trust and good relationship among leaders

Has been facilitated by dialogue sessions as well as formative and recreational events. This is a continuing process.
Restoring the Rwandan unity and identity

From the onset, Unity Club was formed with the aim of contributing to restoring unity and national identity. The process involved campaigns, annual dialogue forums and other programs that were aimed at creating awareness around the necessity of unity as a cornerstone for sustainable development.
- 17 Unity Club annual Forums have been organized so far, gathering leaders of the country, Church leaders, Civil Society and Youth representatives whereby critical issues of National Unity are discussed and resolutions for implementation are generated (Ibyemezo ngiro).
These initiatives were consolidated into a structured program known as “Ndi Umunyarwanda”- “I am Rwandan”, initiated in 2013 with an ultimate goal of contributing to restoring unity and national identity, strengthening the solidarity and moral values of Rwandans, and helping them to understand their fundamental rights and responsibilities.

Orphans without trace of family origins or ties after the Genocide against the Tutsi were resettled in Kanembwe village: 20 houses were built in a form of village (Kanembwe Village)
Young adults who had grown up in “Orphelinat Noel de Nyundo” were given their own homes and were supported and empowered through capacity building to become independent and self-sustaining. They continue to be supported, mentored and also supported in their families’ joyful and sorrowful events by Unity Club members.
